Child Safety Policy

Last updated: April 15, 2025

Thoughts is committed to the highest standards of child safety and protection against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). In accordance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards, this page outlines our policies and practices to ensure our application is a safe space for minors and complies with applicable child safety laws.

Standards Against CSAE

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation. Content that contains, promotes, or enables CSAE will be immediately removed and reported to relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as required.

Reporting Mechanism

Users can report any suspicious or harmful content directly within the app. To report content:

Reports are reviewed within 24 hours and appropriate action is taken, including removal, banning users, or escalating to law enforcement.

Handling of CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material)

We use automated systems and human moderators to detect and eliminate CSAM. Any detected CSAM is removed immediately, and access is permanently restricted. We report all instances to the relevant authorities in compliance with applicable laws.

Compliance with Child Safety Laws

Thoughts complies with:

We ensure that our features are designed to be age-appropriate, and we restrict access to adult or sensitive content for users under the age of 18.

Age Verification and Access Control

Our app verifies the age of users during account creation. Access to certain features and content is limited based on age to prevent exposure to inappropriate material.

If a minor is found accessing the app under false age declaration, their account may be suspended or terminated.

Safe Communication Practices

We limit communication capabilities for minors to prevent unsolicited contact. Users under 18 cannot receive messages from unknown users. Private message content is not scanned but is protected by behavioral restrictions.
